The skin is our body’s largest organ and 60% of what we put on it is absorbed within minutes. Although this practice may look different for everyone, a daily skin care routine is an important form of nourishment and on busier days, it might be the only 10 minutes of self-love you have time for.
Unfortunately, the self-care industry can be far from kind. It depends on a narrative rooted in insecurity that leaves women feeling like there’s something they need to “fix” when they look in the mirror. The journey to a consistent self-care practice can be surprisingly difficult and often ignores, excludes and shames women.
Pink Moon is dedicated to shifting this paradigm.
