At Pink Moon, we place a high value on community and giving back. As a matter of fact, from the moment we decided to create our digital wellcare space, we knew we wanted to create a unique initiative that fused these two values together. Our ultimate goal was to create something that would allow meaningful and far reaching change birthed from collaboration.
For us, this meant putting a spin on the traditional affiliate program structure.
The amazing bloggers that we work with were chosen very intentionally. We have a lot of respect for the women we have partnered with, and, more often than not, have been admirers of their contributions to the beauty space for years.
We are honored to introduce you to Trish, who is one of the OG green beauty bloggers and created a blog focused on natural perfumes called Scent Hive in 2009. Today, you can find her on her blog, YouTube channel, and IG.

Pink Moon: Tell us a little bit about you and your platform.
Trish: In 2009, I created my blog Scent Hive, which focused on my passion for natural and organic perfumes. A few years ago, I branched out into green beauty reviews on my YouTube channel, Green Beauty Trish. I love green beauty's focus on the botanical world as that is what I am drawn to, whether it be in my skincare, my garden, or other healing modalities. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and two sons, and love my work as a nurse midwife. I am currently taking the Herbal Medicine for Women course with Dr. Aviva Romm and hope to incorporate that knowledge into my midwifery practice.
Pink Moon: How has self care positively impacted your life?
Trish: In terms of skincare as ritual, self care has given me an even greater appreciation and reverence for botanicals. Taking time to experience the beautiful aromas and nourishing plant oils and butters on my skin connects me to the vibrancy and vitality of the natural world. Of course self care isn't limited to taking care of our skin, but also our whole beings. Making the bed, taking time for breath work and having a cup of tea as a part of my morning routine is also self care which helps me to move more mindfully throughout my day.
Pink Moon: Since you are one of our Collaborators for Change, what charity have you chosen to work with? Why?
Trish: I have chosen The Loveland Foundation because they provide underserved communities, particularly Black women and girls, access to mental health care.
Pink Moon: What are your favorite products in the Pink Moon shop (or what are you most interested in/excited to try)?
Trish: There are so many to choose from! But here are my top five favorites:
5YINA Divine Bioadaptive Cleanser
Moss Beurre Celeste
Pink Moon Lunar Drops Gua Sha Facial Oil
Earthwise Beauty Black Locust Firming Concentrate
Malaya Repair & Style Hair Oil
