Collaborator for Change: Lucy / Lucy Is Dewy

At Pink Moon, we place a high value on community and giving back. As a matter of fact, from the moment we decided to create our digital wellcare space, we knew we wanted to create a unique initiative that fused these two values together. Our ultimate goal was to create something that would allow meaningful and far reaching change birthed from collaboration.

For us, this meant putting a spin on the traditional affiliate program structure.

The amazing women that we work with were chosen very intentionally. We have a lot of respect for the women we have partnered with, and, more often than not, have been admirers of their contributions to the beauty space for years.

We're excited to partner with Lucy Xu, a beauty blogger and skincare enthusiast in Australia. We love Lucy's dreamy photography, especially her texture shots. Follow Lucy on IG here.

Pink Moon: Tell us a little bit about you and your platform.

Lucy: I started my beauty Instagram at the end of July 2020 as a place to share my passion for skincare and anything beauty related. I have since established a very trusting and supportive community within this niche. I provide honest reviews and recommendations to my followers by being as understanding and authentic as I can be. I also love supporting local and sustainable brands.

Pink Moon: How has self care positively impacted your life?

Lucy: Ever since starting my beauty account I have been focusing more on self care. It is a way for me to pause, reset and relax. It also helps me stay grounded and remember the important things in life. I would love for everyone to remember to make time for self care as it can be very important to your mental and emotional well being.

Pink Moon: Since you are one of our Collaborators for Change, what charity have you chosen to work with? Why?

Lucy: I've chosen to have funds donated to the Humane Society International. I’d love to support this organisation because it’s my dream to start an animal shelter especially dogs and help them find their forever homes. If money didn’t matter in this world, I’d quit my day job to do this.

Animals, dogs especially have always have a place in my heart and I think this organisation aligns with my beliefs and passions!

Pink Moon: What are your favorite products in the Pink Moon shop (or what are you most interested in/excited to try)?

Lucy: Midnight Melody Body and Hair Oil! I absolutely love a good hair oil and its something I cannot live without.
